The NA-MOST-P interface from DICE Electronics connects an iPod to the Porsche MOST audio system in vehicles equipped with factory Navigation. This interface provides a direct audio connection using the satellite radio / auxiliary input on the back of the factory radio CD-quality sound. Also built-in is an auxiliary input for connection of an additional audio source such as satellite radio, DVD player, etc.
Browsing of the iPod is performed using the controls on the factory radio and steering wheel, or by using the iPod itself. The radio preset buttons 1-6 are used to navigate between Albums, Artists and Playlists, while the track controls are used to cycle through songs within the Playlist or Album. Artist and Song Title information is displayed on the factory radio in vehicles with the ability to display text information. The NA-MOST-P powers and charges the iPod while connected, and automatically shuts it off when the ignition is turned off.
