The MIT-POD allows the iPod audio to play through the factory Mitsubishi auxiliary input for the best possible sound quality. Measuring approximately 6’ long, the MIT-POD has a 3-Terminal connection cable that connects to the radio’s 14-pin or 22-pin connector. The MIT-POD connects to any iPod with a Dock connector and provides Power and Ground connections for charging of the iPod.  By using the iPod dock connector for audio output, the highest musical sound quality is achieved- much better than any FM transmitter or headphone adapter can provide. The iPod's click wheel controls are still used for song selection, play control, etc.
