X3 Triple Auxiliary Audio Input with X3-FRDW Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury Harness for vehicles with the 12-pin CD changer harness. This harness connects at the CD changer.  The optional X3-EXT15 15-foot extension cable is available for mounting the X# in the front of the vehicle.

The Part # X3-FRDW is for Ford radios with a factory installed pre-wired CD changer. This auxiliary plus CD Changer converter, was specially designed for OEM (factory) Ford radios. The X3 System is composed of a universal brain module and a wired remote input switcher with display plus a vehicle specific wiring harness. The X3-FRDW connects to the X3 (brain module) and allows 3 auxiliary audio sources to be connected to the OEM radio when a CD Changer is present. This converter will interrupt the audio of the CD Changer switching from AUX1, AUX2, AUX3 and back to CD Changer.
