The VWR/PC-POD(2) and AUD/PC-POD(2) from Precision Interface Electronics interfaces an iPod directly to the factory radio in select Audi vehicles, and takes the place of the factory CD changer. The interface retains the ability to use the iPod's screen and controls as well as provide basic operation through the CD changer controls of the factory radio (i.e. play/pause, track up/down, fast forward/rewind). The interface provides digital quality iPod sound and charges the iPod at the same time. Compatible with iPod models featuring the dock connector including the new iPod 3rd Generation nano and iPod classic.

The VWR/PC-POD(2) and AUD/PC-POD(2) are compatible with most 1998-2005 CD Changer Control Radios. Vehicles equipped with the factory CD changer or are pre-wired with the 13-pin DIN cable require the AUD/PC-POD(2). Vehicles with CD changer control radios that did not come with the factory changer require the VWR/PC-POD(2) which connects at the back 8-pin connector onthe back of the radio.

Note 1: Not compatible if equipped with a factory External CD Changer or Satellite.
Note 2: 2002 and up models equipped with the “Symphony II” (6-disc in-dash) headunit will also require PIE Part # AA3-HAR.
Note 4: VWR and AUD part are not compatible if vehicle is equipped with factory Navigation, Satellite, or external CD changer.
